Templates

ASDIP is an integrated, interactive system that combines the flexibility of a fill-in-the-blanks format with the power of the Windows environment to effortlessly develop either an optimal design or a quick investigation.

Using a screen with tabbed pages, ASDIP allows you enter your data either directly onto the template or by using the extensive set of dialog boxes. Either way, you are always in control of the design process, since what you see is really what you get. In addition, the calculations are always available for you to follow by the touch of a tab.

User Interface

ASDIP uses pull-down menus, dialog boxes, tool bars, and in-cell editing as the main user interface. These components help to elegantly manage and control the complex design algorithms, transparently to the end user, in a simple manner

In addition, ASDIP validates the input data to prevent erroneous format, such as negative values for materials' properties.

ASDIP allows you intuitively develop your design with the combined text-with-values output messages, which are updated with each new change.

Graphic Output

Every program in ASDIP is able to generate graphic images to help you visualize and clarify the meaning of your data entry and the calculated output. Each graph is carefully drawn to scale in color for easy viewing. You can print or copy them to the clipboard to paste into other programs.

On-line Documentation

ASDIP has been recognized over the past fourteen years as one of the easiest and most user-friendly structural design software available. A detailed on-line documentation is provided in Windows Help format to guide you through the programs. In addition, the User's Manual in pdf format is just a click away.
